In need of jailer and law enforcement training,
the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office has saved time and money with Police Legal Sciences online training.
ISSUES BEFORE PLS:
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s office wanted affordable, realistic, and relevant legal training. Like many first-responder organizations, they struggled with the time and expense required to send staff to traditional training.
Police Legal Sciences has provided our office with quality, realistic and relevant online monthly training based on current case law, at a fraction of the time and cost it would be to send our staff to a traditional training. Since these trainings can be done as time allows anytime during each month, PLS has allowed us to keep our deputies on the street and our jailers in the jail without running shorthanded due to training needs and requirements. Furthermore, they have been responsive and have made adjustments per our requests and suggestions to ensure they are providing a product that is the most practical and valuable for us. PLS has significantly simplified and streamlined our training needs, while at the same time provided a much higher level and quality of training at a lower cost.
